This green peach smoothie is incredibly tasty, and very nutritious! Have it for breakfast to start your day in an alkaline forming way.

The spinach makes this a really powerful drink. Popeye loved spinach, and so do I!

Spinach is a nutrient-packed food, and contains more usable protein gram for gram than a steak, and has more usable calcium than any diary product and a whole host of B vitamins according to “Medicinal Cookery” by Dale Pinnock.

An interesting fact about the fuzzy peach is that it is a member of the rose family. It’s good for you as well, a large peach has less than seventy calories and contains a a whole three grams of fibre, while being rich in vitamins A and C.

Green Peach Smoothie

Serves 2

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe peach
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 30g (1 1/4 oz) baby spinach leaves
  • 1 tsp agave syrup
  • 250ml (1 cup) coconut water

Method:
