But as promised, here’s a tasty alkaline almond milk smoothie recipe to incorporate some almond milk in your alkaline diet.
Berry and Almond Milk Smoothie Recipe
1/2 banana (peeled of course and cut into bits)
1/4 cup blueberries
1/4 cup strawberries
1/4 cup chopped fresh mango
2 cups chilled unsweetened vanilla-flavored almond milk
Throw the banana chunks, blueberries, strawberries, and mango in your blender and blend this delicious mix until it looks like a smoothie. Throw in a couple of ice cubes if you like it ice cold.
Pour this berrylicious almond milk smoothie into your favourite smoothie glass (you do have a favourite smoothie glass right?) and drink with a big smile on your face – make sure to share some with your friends 🙂
