I did not come up with this alkaline smoothie, in fact I came across it at simplegreensmoothies (see pic below)
Unlike some green smoothies, this is delicious and has a great summery, sweet twist to it.
In fact, you could serve these green smoothies as a mocktail at a party. Before we begin blending this delicious fruity green smoothie, let’s have a quick look at the health benefits of pineapple.
Health Benefits of Pineapple
Pineapples are not only tasty but very healthy. Pineapples are full of vitamin A and C, fiber, potassium, phosphorous and calcium.
A cup of pineapple juice gives you roughly 73% of the required manganese for a day, which helps in strengthening bones.
The powerful antioxidants keep free radicals away and lower the cholesterol levels, preventing heart diseases.
In fact, there’s too many health benefits of pineapple to list here, so instead of boring those that just want to make this smoothie, here‘s a link to a list of the 17 health benefits of eating pineapple (or drinking pinapple in this case!)
